Residents receive four weeks of vacation each year in two-week blocks.

Annual Schedule

PGY1
Orientation & Introduction to Emergency Medicine: 4 weeks
Emergency Medicine: 24 weeks
Obstetrics and Gynecology: 2 weeks
Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Harlem Hospital: 4 weeks
Radiology: 2 weeks
Cardiac Care Unit: 4 weeks
Anesthesiology: 2 weeks
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery: 2 weeks
Ultrasound: 2 weeks
Administration: 2 weeks
Vacation: 4 weeks (two 2-week blocks) 

PGY2
Emergency Medicine: 26 weeks
Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Elmhurst Hospital: 4 weeks
Brookdale: 4 weeks
Toxicology at NY Poison Control Center: 2 weeks
Pediatric Emergency Medicine: 4 weeks
Emergency Medical Services: 2 weeks
Medical Intensive Care Unit: 4 weeks
Administration: 2 weeks
Vacation: 4 weeks (two 2-week blocks) 

PGY3
Emergency Medicine: 30 weeks
Pediatric Emergency Medicine at TBHC: 4 weeks
Trauma at Elmhurst Hospital: 4 weeks
Elective: 4 weeks
Specialty Track: 2 weeks
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: 2 weeks
Ultrasound: 2 weeks
Vacation: 4 weeks (two 2-week blocks)

PGY4
Emergency Medicine: 30 weeks
Trauma at Elmhurst: 4 weeks
Pediatric Emergency Medicine at TBHC: 4 weeks
Elective: 8 weeks
Administration: 2 weeks
