Opt-In by Texting “JOIN” to 79517
The Brooklyn Hospital Center provides a convenient way to help you live your healthiest life, by sending you text messages to manage your:
- Appointments
- MyChart (Patient Portal)
- Prescriptions
- Billing
When you sign up for text messages from The Brooklyn Hospital Center, you are signing up to receive text messages related to your relationship with The Brooklyn Hospital Center.
These messages may include:
Care Short Code 79517:
- Updates or requests related to your appointments and visits
- Information related to your MyChart (Patient Portal) account
- One-time passcode
- Prescription reminders
- Other messages related to your healthcare with TBHC
Billing Short Code 79517:
- Cost estimates
- Billing related notifications
You can manage your text notifications options in your MyChart (Patient Portal) account, or opt-out of all SMS text messages by texting STOP to each respective short code. Your opt-out request will generate one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from the short code you’ve opted out from. If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text HELP to the respective short code. If you want to join again, sign up using your MyChart (Patient Portal) account or text HELP to the short code for instructions.
