Free interpreter services are available for all patients who need them, regardless of ability to pay. The following services are provided
- Bilingual staff and telephonic interpreter services.
- Video remote interpreting system for sign language interpretation.
- Monitoring language service provision throughout the hospital.
- Responding to issues concerning language service.
Please notify your nurse or doctor if you require interpretation services. You can also contact 718-250-8000 and ask for an interpreter.
Interpreters are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
