Scholarly Activities & Research

Residents are encouraged to participate in research to pursue publications and conference participations (presentations and posters) at local and national conferences. Our GME department funds poster presentations. 

At the Family Medicine Experience in October 2018, we presented four posters:

  • Prediabetes and CVS Risk Reduction
  • Malignant Mesothelioma — The Importance of a Scrotal Mass Diagnosis for a Family Physician — A Case Report
  • Glioblastoma Multiforme with Diplopia
  • Hyperemesis Gravidarum with Dangerous Transaminitis

This is also a time to for our alumni and current residents to meet each other and network.
