The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) joined the community block party thrown by State Assembly Member Walter T. Mosley, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, NYC Council Majority Leader Laurie Cumbo and State Senator Velmanette Montgomery. The festivities took place in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn Hospital Center Meets Full FDA Requirements for Mammography
TBHC achieves the American College of Radiology gold seal. The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC), a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, has recently earned full accreditation of its mammography facility from the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). TBHC has met all the requirements under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) of 1992, including all voluntary programs and modules in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and breast MRI.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) will be joining the New York Police Department’s 88th Precinct Community & Youth Council’s 36th Annual National Night Out Against Crime, which benefits Fort Greene/Clinton Hill on Tuesday, August 6, from 12 noon to 4 pm. The event goes on until 7 pm.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) is hiring nurses and we’re hosting an open house with on-the-spot interviews on Wednesday, July 31, from 5:30 to 8 pm in the hospital cafeteria. Come meet with us and explore brand new openings in Critical Care, Emergency Room, Operating Room and Step-Down Unit. Positions require current RN license, BSN preferred; Telemetry, BCLS, ACLS & PALS; one year experience in the respective unit; and proven organizational, communication and leadership abilities.
