The Brooklyn Hospital Center has an active and widely recognized Infectious Diseases service. Our attending physicians provide consultative services for inpatients with a variety of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, unexplained fevers and HIV/AIDS.
Ongoing outpatient care for patients with HIV/AIDS is provided by The Brooklyn Hospital Center's PATH Center located at the hospital center's downtown campus in Brooklyn, New York.
The PATH Center is a New York State Designated AIDS Center and is recognized as a Center of Excellence by the New York State AIDS Institute.
Patients with infectious diseases may also be seen in the private offices of our attending physicians, located a few blocks away at the Physicians Pavilion, 86 Saint Felix Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The building provides elegant, state-of-the-art doctors’ offices and stunning views.
