Our board certified pulmonologists are specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, disorders and injuries of the lung and bronchial tubes. The Division also works closely with and providing support to The Center for Critical Care Services.

Working in partnership with your primary care physician, we offer a broad range of services, from routine asthma care, smoking cessation and COPD treatment, to the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, interstitial lung disease and acute lung injuries.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center is also home to a state-of-the-art Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) laboratory. Pulmonary function tests help your physician determine how much air your lungs can hold, how quickly you can move air in and out of your lungs, and how well your lungs add oxygen and remove carbon dioxide from your bloodstream.
