New Security Measures

Because the safety of patients, visitors and staff is our priority, we have implemented a high-tech weapons detection system at the Emergency Department entrance and in the main lobby. These sophisticated systems are not metal detectors and will not set off alarms for those who have medical devices such as pacemakers, metal rods and clips. They are also non-invasive. As you can see in the photo, people simply walk through the system and the intelligent technology only picks up the presence of weapons.

All these changes add up to a better and safer experience for us all!
