The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation Celebrates Blueprint for Excellence at its Annual Founders Ball Monday, May 22, 2023, 6:00 pm at the Brooklyn Museum

On May 22, The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation will again host its premiere event, the Founders Ball, at the Brooklyn Museum, celebrating the hospital’s Blueprint for Excellence including its recent progress with magnificent new facilities, award-winning clinical programs, top-notch medical education and compassionate patient care.
New advancements throughout the hospital’s campus that improve quality and access to medical care for patients include:
- The Brooklyn Cancer Center, in partnership with New York Cancer & Blood Specialists
- A modernized and expanded Emergency Department
- State-of-the-art 25-unit Myrtle Dialysis Center
- Physicians Pavilion, a sophisticated medical tower housing primary and specialty care practices.
The event will be chaired by Olamide Ajibesin, Partner, KPMG, and TBHC Trustee. Because of their tireless commitment to medical excellence, the event will honor:
- Jeffrey Vacirca, MD, FACP, of New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, with a Founders Medal
- Viswanath Vasudevan, MD, TBHC’s Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency Program & Vice Chair, Education Medicine, with a Walter E. Reed Medal
