We are working closely with local, state and federal public health agencies, as well as collaboratively with our colleagues at other area hospitals to ensure that The Brooklyn Hospital Center is prepared. Our clinicians within the hospital and in the community have clear up-to-date protocols on how to handle potential cases, including recognizing, isolating, testing and treating such patients. Rest assured, our emergency medicine, infectious disease, ambulatory care and nursing staff are monitoring the situation not day by day, but rather hour by hour.
