The Brooklyn Hospital Center Receives “Gold” Heart and Stroke Care Recognitions

This year, The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) improved its showing by receiving American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold Plus Award for maintaining performance level for two consecutive years and demonstrating 75% compliance to a group of quality measures.

In addition, TBHC received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients. TBHC additionally received the Association’s Target: StrokeSM Elite award, as well as the Association’s Target: Type 2Diabetes Honor Roll™ award.
