About Jamil M. Shah, MD
Dr. Jamil Shah earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine, Brooklyn. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Shah completed his Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship and Hepatology Fellowship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, University Hospital.
Dr. Shah’s main clinical interests include pancreatic and hepato-biliary diseases. His expertise is in advanced therapeutic endoscopy including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
Dr. Shah has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at several national gastroenterology conferences. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, New York Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
