About The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation
For over 175 years, The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) has held to a singular focus: the health and well-being of the people of Brooklyn and the City of New York. And as we continue to grow and improve, we’ve never lost sight of that focus. We are fully dedicated to providing the best possible health services, the clearest education, and the most up-to-date research, and we remain passionate about ensuring that accessible and dependable health care is available to all of Brooklyn’s residents, employees, and visitors, regardless of ability to pay. These are big goals, but with the help of our community of friends, we can achieve them.
The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation (TBHF) advances the vision and mission of The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) and supports a broad range of educational and clinical programs and services. Serving as the fundraising arm of the institution, TBHF raises support from individuals, foundations and local businesses to fund new programs, equipment and technologies that improve the health and wellness of Brooklyn residents. As the first hospital in New York City to fundraise, we take great pride in our roots and value every contribution, whether through time, money or ideas: each has helped the Hospital remain modern and innovative.
