Teaching Units

  • The Red Teaching Unit is the primary general surgical non-private service and provides exposure to trauma, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, and plastic/reconstructive and hand surgery.
  • The White Teaching Unit provides particular exposure to surgical oncology, head and neck tumors, thoracic, and orthopedic surgery.
  • The Blue Teaching Unit provides extensive exposure to peripheral vascular, colorectal, and endoscopy in addition to general surgery.
  • The Green Teaching Unit provides extensive exposure to trauma and critical care.
