The Division of Pulmonary Medicine is responsible for the evaluation and management of patients with all forms of respiratory disease.
Services include consultation and a large number of procedures:
- bronchoscopy
- thoracentesis
- pleural biopsies
- pulmonary artery catheterization
- chest tube insertions
We also provide management of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
The Division of Pulmonary Medicine received the HealthGrades Pulmonary Care Excellence Award in 2010.
