Education

The Cardiology staff is deeply involved in The Brooklyn Hospital Center's continuing education program. Regularly scheduled lectures are provided to physicians-in-training, nursing staff and other personnel. We are actively involved in the training and supervision of Cardiology Fellows. Lectures at other sites are also given routinely. We regularly sponsor educational symposia open to all health care providers.

Research

Our physicians are committed to expanding the fund of knowledge within the cardiology field. Research projects, both limited to hospital itself and those performed in cooperation with other leading institutions are conducted including NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Medical College of Cornell University. All of these activities are under the authority of the Institutional Review Board and safeguard patient safety and privacy. Results of our studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals and the media.
